At my first Florida Folk Festival, we camped directly across the road from a site roped off and containing nothing but three empty camp chairs bearing notepaper signs that said, “Gamble,” “Will,” and “Grooms.” My next Florida Folk Fest Tom Shed walked up, handed me a Don Grooms CD and said, “You need to know this man.” I did, and I do, and I wish I could’ve camped across from him in life. It was great fun to meet up with Tom in the River Room in Dunnellon and do this together! Elvis is alive and I’ve seen him at the Hard Rock Cafe

I believe that everybody oughta go to work each day
I can trust FOX TV news, the congress and the CIA
I believe we need more prisons and Superman can fly
I believe we need a border fence that’s 32 feet high

I believe in the Easter Bunny, he lays golden eggs
God made women special, they don’t have hairy legs
I believe in war with Iran and the good guy always wins
There’s a better day up yonder and the police are my friends
